The story of my blog may as well mimic the story of my life: side tracked by fashion.
Here is an interesting article on how to dress to impress without going broke.

The author suggests goodwill and vintage stores, I don’t know but I have a hard time dealing with that. I’m an innate germaphobe — and there is something otherworldly about wearing something for the first time. Recently I’ve been saving and saving and saving for a Chanel bag (5,500) — and when I had enough money I didn’t have enough heart to spend it all in one place. There is a lot of good to be done in the world, I don’t know if my Chanel will help end world hunger of work towards world peace. Understanding my dilemma, my friends introduced me to the world of vintage Chanel (check out Poshmark.com/Etsy.com). The bags were half the price – and some in very good condition but I just felt like so much could go wrong in the transaction.
So here I sit – Chanel bagless, my pumps have no matching bag and my brain as indecisive as ever. I know which bag/color and all – I just don’t know if I can justify $5,500 on a middle class living standard? Thoughts?
I know! Maybe I should stop binge watching Gossip Girl on Netflix and I won’t drool over B’s wit or her wardrobe. #sadface
