I’m totally borrowing the idea from another blog! For the rest of the year, instead reading random books, I’m going to try to read one book in each of the below categories.
A BOOK THAT WAS BANNED AT SOME POINT
A BOOK PUBLISHED THIS YEAR – Thanks for the Trouble by Tommy Wallace
A BOOK YOU CAN FINISH IN A DAY
A BOOK YOU PREVIOUSLY ABANDONED
A BOOK RECOMMENDED BY YOUR LOCAL LIBRARIAN OR BOOKSELLER
A BOOK YOU’VE BEEN MEANING TO READ
A BOOK THAT INTIMIDATES YOU
A BOOK YOU’VE ALREADY READ AT LEAST ONCE – Twilight (my go to when I need to escape reality)
A BOOK YOU SHOULD HAVE READ IN SCHOOL – To Kill a Mockingbird
A BOOK CHOSEN BY YOUR SPOUSE, PARTNER, SIBLING, CHILD, OR BFF. Lilly and the Octopus
A BOOK PUBLISHED BEFORE YOU WERE BORN
A BOOK YOU OWN BUT HAVE NEVER READ
I really like this idea. It helps you to choose a book that you normally wouldn’t…especially if you are in a reading rut like myself. So refreshing to change it up!

A book published before you were born: Shirley by Charlotte Bronte. One of my favourite classics and I think you’ll love it too!
